Alan Down

Finally got around to finishing this one. Alan's leg IS broken, so don't mind that. (I do mean the one closest to Sid. It broke at the hip because I'm sick like that).

Scene takes place in Fable 2 atop Garth's tower.

The Spire guards and Commandants relentlessly attacked the Heroes. The Commandants shot forth spikes from the ground while the guards used their own muscle to push and shove the Heroes around.

Sid wiped the blood from his cheek, when he felt himself shoved aside. As if time slowed, he looked to see his attacker. "Alan!" He cried as he helplessly watched his companion be struck by the devastating ground spikes.

Alan tumbled into a pile of rubble with a "thud".

Sid rushed to his friend's side and leaned over him.

"I'm..." Alan tried to push himself up, a pain shooting up from his hip stopping him. "Not okay," he finished.

"Fable needs to heal you," Sid noted, looking for their Hero friend. He spied him cornered by three guards.

"Sid," Alan called his friend's attention to the Commandant before them. "Save yourself," Alan ordered.

"I ain't leavin' ya," Sid barked.

"Pity," the Commandant said. His fist began to glow and he arched his arm back.

"Skorm take you!" Sid shouted and leapt at the adversary.

Alan watched the attack a moment longer before the pain and blood loss caused him to blackout.
